MATT
SELKIRK MIET
Matt began his career in 1997 undertaking a 4 year technical apprenticeship with a HV electrical contracting company. Striking the right balance of theory and practical teachings he gained a solid background for specialism in protection, control and interface design.
Matt has worked on a wide variety of projects with Worldwide energy suppliers, UK based DNOs, National Grid, OEMs and various renewables companies on schemes ranging from 11 - 800kV in both AC & HVDC.
Having held various positions ranging from CAD Engineer through to Project Manager within many of the electrical equipment manufacturers he has obtained a broad knowledge and understanding of the complexities involved in delivering multi-disciplined projects from the perspective of both an engineer and management viewpoint.
Matt has most recently been focused on the overall delivery of over 100MW of Gas Peaking and Battery Storage schemes for private developers connected to the 33kV network.
